We also offer hourly pricing if you only need some rooms or areas cleaned.
What Constitutes a Deep Clean?
A deep clean is the ideal choice for clients whose homes haven't received professional cleaning in over a month or are in a state of disarray. During a deep clean, our dedicated team devotes extra time and attention to meticulously rejuvenate your living space. This process effectively tackles stubborn build-up, grease, and grime, which often requires more effort and time.
What's Covered in Our Flat-Rate Cleaning Services?
Our flat-rate cleaning services are straightforward and convenient. The cost is typically calculated based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home. Furthermore, we ensure that all your common living spaces, dining areas, and kitchens receive the same impeccable cleaning treatment.
Please note that any additional rooms, like studies, theaters, or home offices, are categorized as bedrooms for pricing purposes.
It's essential to keep in mind that any 'extra' services not selected on the booking form are not included in your cleaning package. This allows you to customize your cleaning to suit your specific needs and budget.
How and when do I pay for my cleaning services?
Here's how it works:
Venmo: You can easily make your payment through Venmo. Simply send your payment to our Venmo account, [Your Venmo Account Name], after your cleaning is completed.
Zelle: Alternatively, you can opt for Zelle to make your payment. Use our designated Zelle email address, [Your Zelle Email Address], to send your payment once your cleaning has been successfully done.
We've streamlined our payment process to accommodate your preferences, making it hassle-free to settle your cleaning service charges with Venmo or Zelle.
Do the cleaners bring the cleaning supplies?
Our dedicated cleaners are fully equipped to ensure your home sparkles. They come prepared with all the necessary green cleaning supplies. However, if you prefer our cleaners to use your own cleaning products, please be sure to make a note of it when you make your booking. We're here to accommodate your preferences and make your cleaning experience as personalized as possible.
How many cleaners will come?
At Essential Apartment Cleaning, we prioritize your comfort and convenience. To ensure a thorough yet unobtrusive cleaning experience, we typically assign a single cleaner to your home. This approach allows us to maintain a calm and efficient cleaning process without overwhelming your living space. Rest assured, our dedicated cleaner will focus on delivering the high-quality cleaning service you expect.
Do the cleaners do laundry or the dishes?
While our primary focus is on delivering exceptional cleaning services, we do offer the convenience of laundry and dishwashing as additional add-on services. These services are available for an extra fee, allowing you to tailor your cleaning experience to your specific needs. Feel free to inquire about these additional services when booking to make your cleaning appointment even more comprehensive.
Can the cleaners use eco friendly green cleaning supplies?
At Essential Apartment Cleaning, we are dedicated to the well-being of your home and the environment. We exclusively utilize eco-friendly, green cleaning supplies in all our cleaning services. You can have peace of mind knowing that our cleaning products are gentle on your living space and the planet, ensuring a healthy and sustainable cleaning experience.
Will I have the same cleaner each visit?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you prefer to have the same dedicated cleaner for each of your cleaning appointments, please inform us in advance. We are more than willing to accommodate your request to ensure a consistent and personalized cleaning experience tailored to your preferences. Your comfort and peace of mind matter to us.
Do I need to be home the day of cleaning?
Some clients prefer scheduling cleaning appointments while they are at work or away for the day, while others like to be at home during the process. This is up to you.
If you won't be there, your cleaners just need a way to get in and they promise they will treat your home like their own. They can lock up and/or leave the key wherever you like.
Is there a cancellation fee for last-minute changes?
Yes, there is a $70 cancellation fee applied to any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled cleaning. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but this fee helps us compensate our cleaners for their scheduled time. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.
How will my cleaner enter my home on my scheduled day of cleaning?
It's completely your choice; we want you to feel comfortable with the process. Here are some options:
Leave a Key Under the Doormat: If you prefer, you can leave a key under the doormat on the day of cleaning.
Garage Code: Alternatively, you can provide the code to your garage door for access.
Leave the Door Unlocked: If it suits you, you can leave the door unlocked on the day of cleaning.
We aim to make the entry process as convenient and secure as possible, accommodating your preferences for a hassle-free cleaning experience. Your peace of mind is important to us.
Do the cleaners clean inside (interior) windows and outside (exterior) windows?
While we focus on providing exceptional interior cleaning services, please note that we do not offer exterior window cleaning at this time. However, you can always enhance the cleanliness of the inside of your windows by adding our interior window cleaning service during the booking process. We're here to cater to your specific cleaning needs.
Do the cleaners clean the Ceiling, Ceiling Fans, Chandeliers, or other high areas with a ladder?
Regrettably, our cleaners do not bring ladders, and they are unable to use ladders provided by clients due to liability concerns. However, they can access slightly higher areas using a small step stool with 2-3 steps, provided by you.
Please make sure to mention in the special instructions if you will provide a step stool. If the cleaning task requires access beyond what can be reached with a small step stool, it may not be possible to clean that particular area.
Do the cleaners clean outside my house such as the backyard?
Typically, our cleaning services do not encompass outdoor areas, including the backyard. This coverage applies to our standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/out cleaning, and post-construction cleaning packages.
However, if you require backyard cleaning, depending on the specifics and your needs, our cleaners may be able to accommodate this for an additional fee. We recommend contacting us first to discuss your requirements and confirm the details before booking. We're here to ensure your cleaning needs are met to your satisfaction.
Do the cleaners clean behind appliances like the Fridge & Oven or behind heavy furniture?
Yes, our cleaners are capable of cleaning behind appliances and heavy furniture. However, for this service, we kindly ask that you prepare the space beforehand.
To ensure effective cleaning, please move all furniture or appliances away from the cleaning areas before our cleaners arrive. Please note that our cleaners typically do not engage in heavy lifting or moving furniture or appliances due to liability concerns. Your cooperation in preparing the space is greatly appreciated, and it allows us to deliver the best cleaning results possible.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change. Here's our cancellation policy:
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment for free up to 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning.
Cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of your appointment are subject to a $50 charge.
If you cancel after the cleaners have already arrived, the appointment is subject to the full charge of the original price. This compensates our cleaners for holding your booking in their schedule.
For same-day or next-day bookings, you can cancel or reschedule for free within 2 hours after making your booking.
We aim to provide flexibility while also respecting the commitment of our cleaners. Your understanding of our cancellation policy is greatly appreciated.
What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?
Your complete satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. Here's our policy to address any concerns:
We kindly request all customers to conduct both an initial and final walkthrough with your cleaners. During this walkthrough, please communicate any areas that do not meet your expectations, and our cleaners will address them immediately before concluding the service. After the final walkthrough, no further re-cleaning can be provided, so please ensure you are fully satisfied before your cleaners leave.
If, for any reason, a walkthrough cannot be completed, our agency will not be able to provide any further refund or arrange for re-cleaning.
We require you to contact our agency within 48 hours of your cleaning appointment regarding any complaints. After 48 hours from the cleaning date, we will not accept any complaints, and any additional services will be charged at full price.
Please note that agency fees are non-refundable after a cleaning service has been provided.
*We understand that exceptional circumstances may prevent a walkthrough. In such cases, it is crucial to contact us within 48 hours of the cleaning. Re-cleaning is at the discretion of your cleaners, and they may choose to make an exception based on the specific situation. If a re-clean is agreed upon, it will be scheduled at the cleaners' earliest availability. Please be available for the re-clean if necessary.
**If the condition of the home is exceptionally dirty, and the cleaning requires more time or a higher price than originally estimated but you do not approve, your cleaners will do their best within the allocated time but will not return for a free re-clean under any circumstances.
